Luxury cruise line Seabourn doesn’t usually announce heavy discounts on its popular itineraries – but that’s not stopping them from listing their 2010 season of European and Asian cruises at sale prices of 45% to 65% off.
The promotion includes 150 cruises of seven to 14 days on the Seabourn Pride, Spirit, and Legend – even the new Seabourn Odyssey and Sojourn.
Seabourn says one-week cruises start as low as $2,749 per person.
Seabourn utilizes much smaller ships (450 passenger maximum), and 90% of the cabins have a balcony.
Interestingly, I wander if a lower price will attract more of the mass market mentioned in your class warfare post. Even with the lowest prices , I believe it will still only be a certain clientele because of what a cruise ship type holiday inherently attracts.
