Princess to Offer California Coastal Cruise in 2011

Driving up the California coast can be a beautiful experience, but some of that beauty may be lost if you’re hauling three kids chanting, “are we there yet,” for hours at a time. Princess Cruises will soon have the remedy, as they plan to offer two new sailings that tour the California coast.

The new itineraries may have become part of the regular cruise lineup after the H1N1 scare prompted Princess to offer similar last-minute cruises when the U.S. had travel restrictions to popular Mexican Riviera cruise destinations.

Ensenada, Mexico will be a port of call on the cruise, as will San Diego, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco.

One of the new princess cruises that sounds even more enticing is the “wine country,” seven-day sailing between Los Angeles and Vancouver.

The two new Princess itineraries will begin in late 2011, and prices have yet to be announced.
