Carnival Cruisers Plead Guilty in Antigua, Sentencing to Follow

Five of the six Carnival Cruisers who were arrested and held in Antigua since last month have plead guilty to miscellaneous charges.

The group’s attorneys and Antiguan prosecutors have worked out a plea deal – and the charges for one individual were dropped.

The sentence will be announced tomorrow, though we suspect it will be time served and a fine – and we wouldn’t be surprised if Carnival Cruise Line is helping the families with the fines, even though they weren’t directly involved.

The group was originally arrested after refusing to pay a $100 cab fare after agreeing to a $50 fare, being driven to a police station were a fight ensued.
