My wife and I were passengers on the February 7 to 14 cruise that was late returning to Tampa.

From my perspective the staff on board did a great job of dealing with the thousands of issues that arose from the delay. They quickly put together another set of “Sea Day” activities and meals. Maybe I was lucky because I booked my airfare and everything direct with Carnival but in the end, our return to Canada was only 4 hours behind schedule. They took care of rescheduling the flights and everything.

The people I feel sorry for were those sitting at the dock waiting to get on the ship. I probably would have been a bit upset had I been one of them. This is our 6th Carnival cruise and our first on the Legend. Based on the all 6 experiences, I wouldn't hesitate to sail with Carnival again.

My mother & I were on the Elation at the time of the murder, actually right across the hall room R26. I feel that the carnival should use the room as some sort of storage area & not for passengers. I will never cruise on any of carnival ships ever again this much I know!

I just returned from a cruise with my kids and was shocked of all these fees. I pay for a cruise that was inclusive of F&B. Within minutes of getting on board Carnival charges $280 to my credit card. No bottled water only fountains, and a can of soda was $2.50 plus 15% tax. Photos taken by carnival of my family wwere sold to me at $21 dollars per photo.

The food was horrible and the light on my balcony cabin was out for the entire 7 day cruise (despite my call to change it..)

These fees are ridiculous. at the end of my cruise I still owed carnival over $500 dollars.

I'd rather go to a hotel next time.

I have been on this ship and cannot believe this happened. It does ruin the imagine of that room which for Carnival is unfair you cannot control someone who has a fit of rage. As far as staying in that room I would not perfer to stay in that room personally but is it fair to loose the room and the money because of someone elses actions probably not. I think Carnival should disclose it when someone books it because if you sell a house where there has been a murder it has to be disclosed. There are personal beliefs and even religious beliefs regarding staying in a area of death so out of all respect I hope they do disclose it and Carnival will survive they run a good company....
